Building AI-Powered Email Sequences with OpenClaw
Goal: ship sequences that sound human, stay compliant, and produce measurable replies.
Start with a persona, not a template
A good sequence is not “five emails”. It is a story with a role-specific hook, a clean CTA, and proof points. Use your cheat sheet to pick one persona and one trigger to start.
Sequence anatomy (recommended)
- Email 1: short role-based hook + proof point + single CTA.
- Email 2: add evidence (customer/metric) + clarify the ask.
- Email 3: objection pre-emption (timing, budget, build vs buy).
- Email 4: “breakup” or alternative path (resource, referral).
Parallel LinkedIn layer
Pair your emails with a LinkedIn sequence: connection request, short follow-up, and when appropriate, InMail. The message format should be optimized for LinkedIn mechanics: shorter, more conversational, and anchored to a signal.
Make it measurable
- Track step-level reply rate (email) and accept/reply rate (LinkedIn).
- Keep personalization variables consistent and auditable.
- Iterate one variable at a time: hook, proof point, CTA, audience slice.
